75 and Counting!

With their 67-52 win over Mario Basket 14 March 2026 the boys recorded their 75th team win over Series and Cup play. They have a 56.1 winning percentage between Höst 2021 and Vår 2026. This is all the more impressive considering they have played over 3/4 of their careers in the 2 highest series in Västra Basket (ungdomsserier B & A). They have played the last year in HU17A (the highest possible series). 

Congratulations to Isak Asplund who recorded his 1,000 career point during our most recent match against the Westcoast Wildcats 2026-04-18. He is the third Ytterby Steamroller to reach this milestone, joining Julius Beck and Axel Jensen. Isak leads by example and is always one of the first to arrive and the last to leave after practice. He is a selfless player and a great teammate. He can be counted on in all facets of the game and works tirelessly to continue to develop as a player and increase his understanding of the game of basketball.

The boys travelled to Västerås for round 1 of Pojkar U17 SM.
The Steamrollers finished 3rd in Grupp 1 with an overall record of 2-2.
We had convincing wins over Hammarby (93-85) and Västerås (86-59). 
Our losses were to EIS Lund (62-83) and the eventual Champion Skuru Idrottsklubb (58-107). 
The boys played 4 games in 2 days, but represented themselves and their club very well.
