A huge congratulations to the players chosen from Ytterby IS to play on this years Westra Basket Distriktslaget. They were "en av de 12 spelare som tagit en plats i Distriktslaget" 

Please congratulate the winners of Group P at Gothenburg Basketball Festival! On to the knock-out round of 32 tomorrow. Out of 75 teams in our age bracket we’re the 3rd best 3pt shooting team!!!

Please Congratulate the players from Ytterby Basket F - Juniorer (Lina Fawaz & Maya Fawaz) and Ytterby Steamrollers (Axel Jensen, Julius Beck & Isak Asplund) chosen to attend the final round of Distriktlagsträningar for Westra Basket.

The boys group started with approximately 80 players 2-3 November. After three weekend practices between November and April ONLY 30 were selected for the final round June 7th and 8th. Whatever happens next we are very proud of each of them and how they represent all of us here.  Wish them luck!

3x Series Champions over 3 different levels.

The boys will be moving up to the "A" Series next season (highest division). They continue to work dilligently, while developing more positive traits and characteristics individually. They are a group of close friends and together have built a strong team identity, with solid values. They continue to improve their understanding of the sport and how it's properly played and have made a conscious choice time and time again to work and improve. We are terribly proud of them and all their efforts.

Strandstädning!! For the 3rd year in a row we worked to help clean up Sweden. Once again the boys spent a few hours together, out in the open air in Tjuvkil. Pleased to report there was less garbage here than in the 2 previous years, so the boys are having a positive impact on the local environment.
